The Eastwood Golf Course, a new Golf Course, and Restaurant is opening it’s doors in early January. Here are some logo concepts i came up with.
1. The “hipster”.
3. Tree Stuff.
5. Leaf. My personal favorite.
6. Ginko, including a what could be “logo” at the bottom left.
The color schemes are just ideas, attempting to steer away from just your basic one color idea, plus a black and white version on most as well.
This is a rough screen shot of my infographic i’m working on. I have a little more i’d like to work on, but our critique is today, so here it is!
I zoomed in on some of the sections to show some of the text detail. Again, this is a rough image, and personally i think it looks a heck of a lot better printed and on my screen. Kinda murky here.
And one more zoom, just cause i really like type.
Some spacing issues, but i’m excited about it. and it’s true size is HUGE 32×40 or something odd.
I just created my first REAL WORLD baby invites. They will be printed. They will be used. People besides my class will see them. I am ready to throw up. Actually i’m kidding, i’m really excited. I think they’re pretty cool. I’m not a huge pastel color person, so getting over that was rough, but i moved passed it and think they’re pretty funky and fun.
The card will be a post card style, but put in an envelope. I like the kind of invites you can just stick to your fridge, less way to lose the stand up ones. How handy. ha!
The card has a ton of info on it. from the address to the RSVP numbers (please don’t call them. one is my mothers and she will be angry.) So i wanted to put a little bit of info on the back for some spacing. I added the ” VRProduct” for fun. I dont really have a logo, but that works! Gotta give myself some credit on these puppies.
This will be the “thank you” portion of the thank you notes to go out post shower. Same idea, postcard style.
and the front of the thank you postcard.
I’m pretty pleased with them. I hope i get some good feedback and maybe another gig or something. Who knows, but exciting nonetheless. 🙂
So! For this project, we had to take our last 3 artists and create an imaginary art show. We picked the space, the details, the everything. I chose a for sale Gallery, Cafe and Garden downtown in Milwaukee. I picked a space that could be outdoor and focused on the coffee aspect to tie all three artists together with the title “Common Ground”. I picked colors that i thought all three artists would relate to, and type to mimic the modern industrial feel of the space in which the art would be displayed.
This is the back of the postcard.
This would be the actual 11×17 poster.
And this would be the front of the postcard.
Todays update on the 2 page spread. please be kind, its just a screen shot.
